Backpack Weight Measurement Overweight backpacks can lead to fatigue in students due to excess load. According to the recommendations of the Hong Kong Department of Health, students should not carry backpacks exceeding 15% of their body weight for extended periods. This year, health ambassadors conducted backpack weight measurement activities in the morning on various floors, checking students' backpack weights and teaching those with overweight backpacks how to pack them properly. Health Ambassadors Health ambassadors, nominated by teachers, participate in daily school activities and health training programs. They assist the health team in organizing interview activities, where students learn about healthcare professionals and outstanding individuals in society through face-to-face interviews. These interactions allow students to understand their work conditions and share their life goals and visions for promoting health, thereby enhancing children's and adolescents' sense of mission. Additionally, students share their experiences in promoting health at school through photos, short videos, and oral reports. Workshops inspire them to understand health promotion theories and improve their planning abilities and confidence in organizing campus health promotion activities through reflection and feedback. Seminars and Booth Games Through seminars and diverse booth activities, the harmful effects of drugs are promoted, along with information on drug prevention. This aims to remind students to stay away from drugs, encourage early identification of hidden drug users, and motivate drug users to seek help promptly. [Click here to view the album]
