Spiritual Education

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe that the Lord Jesus can truly transform hearts, which is why our school places a strong emphasis on the spiritual development of our students. Students not only encounter the truths of the Bible during their Scripture lessons but also have numerous opportunities to engage with the Gospel outside the classroom. These opportunities include weekly assemblies, morning meetings, and Friday fellowship activities. Each year, the school hosts an Evangelism Week, during which students can participate in a variety of activities, such as Gospel-themed crafts, film screenings, hymn sharing, scripture memorization, and prayer meetings. The culmination of Evangelism Week is a special evangelistic service, where students are invited to make a commitment to believe in the Lord Jesus, becoming children of God. This commitment grants them the blessing of prayer and the grace of forgiveness, leading to a life of abundance that exceeds our expectations. Those who have faith will witness the mighty power of the Lord Jesus. We hope that every student attending The Salvation Army Lam Butt Chung Memorial School will experience salvation individually.

Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)
