Our senior primary students and teachers visited Xiamen for an exchange programme. The itinerary was divided into two parts: cultural exchange and academic exchange.

In the cultural exchange, we visited famous historical and cultural attractions in Xiamen, including the ancient and unique Tulou clusters, the historic and picturesque Gulangyu Island, the Jimei School Village founded by the renowned patriotic overseas Chinese Mr. Tan Kah Kee, the vibrant Zhongshan Walking Street with its modern cultural atmosphere, and the Xiamen Planning Exhibition Hall that showcases Xiamen’s modern urban planning. These visits broadened students’ horizons and deepened their understanding of Chinese culture.

In the academic exchange, we visited our sister school — Xiamen Experimental Primary School in Fujian Province. Our students attended lessons together with local students and participated in a variety of friendship and exchange activities. Through these interactions, they gained a better understanding of each other’s learning cultures and forged valuable friendships.
