Our school’s Visual Arts curriculum integrates the three learning domains of Visual Arts Knowledge, Visual Arts Appreciation and Visual Arts Creation. Through diversified artistic creation activities, we inspire students’ potential and enrich their visually-oriented sensory, aesthetic and artistic experiences.
In line with the Curriculum Guidelines of the Curriculum Development Council, we achieve the following four learning objectives:
1. Develop creativity and imagination
2. Develop skills and processes
3. Cultivate the ability to appreciate art
4. Understand the contexts of art
At the same time, e-learning elements are incorporated at all year levels to cultivate students’ attitude towards self-directed learning. We also encourage students to actively participate in art workshops, competitions and exhibitions. This broadens their horizons, enables them to enjoy art from multiple perspectives, and nurtures their artistic cultivation.
