The School Wind Orchestra was established in 2006. It currently consists of more than twenty students from Primary 2 to Primary 6. The school engages professional instructors to teach woodwind, brass and percussion instruments.
Prior to the pandemic, our school’s Wind Orchestra had performed publicly on many occasions both inside and outside the school. It had also conducted musical exchanges with schools from the United Kingdom, Singapore and mainland China, earning high acclaim. Every year, the orchestra participates in competitions such as the Hong Kong Joint Schools Music Competition (Wind Orchestra Section) and has achieved excellent results.
Through the process, students learn the spirit of self-discipline, perseverance and resilience, which greatly benefits their personal growth.
