The school symphonic band was established in 2006 and comprises approximately thirty students from Primary 2 to 6. The school hires professional instructors to teach woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. Prior to the pandemic, the concert band participated in numerous public performances both on and off campus and engaged in music exchanges with various schools from the UK, Singapore, and China, receiving high praise for their efforts.
Each year, the band competes in the Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows Symphonic Band Competition and the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival Wind Ensemble Competition, achieving outstanding results. Although the Symphonic band had to pause training due to the pandemic, students resumed their practice as conditions improved. Through this experience, they learned valuable lessons in discipline, patience, and perseverance, significantly contributing to their personal growth.
