Sand painting performance is a form of performance that integrates music, lighting effects and storytelling. Students use their hands to move fine sand quickly on the sand table to create various changing images.
Our school’s Sand Art Performance Class was established in 2023. It is composed of art-loving students from Primary 4 to Primary 6. Students learn techniques such as gripping sand, sprinkling sand and scene transitions during the lessons. After one year of training, students will eventually perform interesting and vivid stories on stage using sand painting.
Members of the Sand Art Performance Class won second place in the “Hong Kong 2nd Joint Schools Sand Art Reading Creation Competition”, which greatly encouraged the students!
