Our English Drama Team was established in 2009 and is committed to enhancing the English learning environment at our school while fostering a greater interest in the language among students in Primary 3 to 6.
Through a structured training program, students develop essential skills, including listening, speaking, and reading abilities, as well as drama performance techniques, which enhance their confidence. The program significantly strengthens students' teamwork and collaboration skills, preparing them for professional-level performances.
Our students’ performances focus on relatable themes from students’ school life, family life, societal issues and life education, including A Bug’s Life, Exodus, New Animal Farm, Food Revenge, and The Rainbow. To further challenge themselves, our team members also performed the English musical The Journey of the Noble Gnarble last year.
Our English Drama Team has been recognized at Hong Kong School Drama Festival, earning several awards such as Best Actor, Best Actress and Outstanding Stage Effects. Additionally, students participate annually in school performances, consistently receiving commendations for their outstanding work.
